How We Work

The same four steps on every project, from the first workshop to handing over the code.

1

Discovery Workshop

We map your current workflow, the people who will use the software and what success looks like, then write it down as a scope.

2

Fixed-Price Quote

You get a fixed price and timeline against that scope, plus our view on whether an off-the-shelf tool would do the job instead.

3

Build with Weekly Demos

We build in short iterations and show you working software every week, so feedback shapes the product while it is still cheap to change.

4

Launch, Handover & Support

We deploy, train your team and hand over the code and documentation, with ongoing support available if you want it.

A small business website is usually live within a week. A larger custom website takes 4-6 weeks, and a complex web application 3-6 months. You get the timeline in writing with the quote.
Mostly React, Next.js and Node.js for web apps, React Native for iOS and Android, and Python where it suits the job. We host on AWS or Google Cloud.
Both. Startups usually come to us for a first version to test with real users. Established businesses usually want to replace spreadsheets or connect systems that don't talk to each other.
A discovery workshop where we write down the scope, then a fixed-price quote. During the build you see working software in a demo every week. At the end we launch and hand over the code and documentation.
A fixed price against a documented scope, agreed before we start. If the scope changes, we quote the change before doing the work. Tell us your budget early and we'll say what it can buy.
Usually, yes. Most of our projects connect to something already in place, such as Xero, a CRM or a supplier's system. If a system has no usable API, we'll tell you what the workaround costs before you commit.
Yes. Support plans cover hosting, security patches, bug fixes and small improvements, with response times agreed in the plan. You don't have to take one. The code is yours either way.
We fix bugs in what we built free for 30 days after launch. After that, a support plan covers fixes, with agreed response times for critical issues.
Yes. We start with a code audit, then tell you what needs fixing now and what can wait.
